Barney is the clown of the family and amuses everyone with his tricks. He has gained his Kennel club Good Citizens awards to Gold level and has completed at pre beginners level in obedience trials. He also enjoys agility for fun.

He has won several Best in Show at Open Group and Breed Shows. At Championship level he gained his stud book number.

Teamed with BB he won the Brace Pastoral Group at the 2004 National Dog Show, a photgraph of them is in the gallery.

He is now successfully competing in veteran classes.
