Welcome to Meisan Old English Sheepdogs

Sandra's family have owned and worked Old English Sheepdogs on the family farm for three generations.

We did not show OES until Lottie (Carave Career Girl at Meisan) arrived. Lottie was shown successfully as a puppy and junior but then as Sarah and Claire became more competitive with the horses, dog showing took a back seat.

In 1997 Sarah was lucky enough to be given Lotties half sister (Carave Saucy Sal) but unfortunately we lost Sally in March 1998. This meant that Sarah wanted another dog and so did Claire, and we decided to mate Lottie. Ch Oakfarm Drovers Boy (Best of Breed Crufts 1997) was chosen and the “Summer” litter was born August 1998. Lottie then had a second “Moon” litter February 2004 sired by Ch Jeddep Bettabelieveit for Chysauster.

Puppies from all three of our litters have gained their stud book numbers and CC's. 

We are currently campaigning our two young girls M. Moonlight Serenade JW who has 1CC and M. Roly Poly Angelica who has 1 CC & 1 RCC, as well as occasionally taking the veterans (Molly and Barney) out.
